Welcome Home
Your child has autism. And ADHD
A heavy cloud of fear wraps around your whole being.
An open abyss of sheer terror for the future.
These are words that many parents have big feelings about.
There are so many things that go through your mind.
How will she be able to be ok?
No idea as to what will work for her now.
What kinds of things are we going to need to know to be the best parents that she deserves?
The pieces of a mosaic of memories slot into place, finally making sense of all the feelings you had that there was something going on for your little one.
Struggles that didn't make sense. Reactions that baffled you.
Feeling like you were reaching out, and weren't connecting the way you feel like you should.
Then... you take a breath.
You start realizing that the doctors are not always right.
In fact, many times what they recommend is not working.
You find out that much of the research on autism is shockingly new.
That many in the profession don't know how to begin to help.
It is up to you.
Finding other people in the same boat. Parents of neurodiverse kids, neuro diverse people themselves.
Building a community of people.
Here to help support each other.
Listening to the lived experiences of people with neuro-diverse brains.
Getting coaching from people who understand how you think, and how to listen deeply to you and your families needs.
We offer a supportive community and the connection to help you find what techniques work best for you and your life.
We also offer 1 - 1 coaching sessions for meditation, neuro-diversity, pain management and more.
The Circle of Security parenting program will also be offered as an 8 week, 1.5 hour course for people that would like to improve their relationship with their children, spouse, or family.
Melynda is a certified trainer for a parenting methodology called Circle of Security. The training helps parents connect on a deeper level with their children (of all ages and abilities.) Circle of Security teaches parents attachment theory and can fundamentally transform the way they communicate and the depth of connection they have with their children.
